Finally finished my Mosaic Tiles Quilt Along Quilt!

I am so excited!!! I just completed my Mosaic Tiles Quilt Along quilt...and just in the nick of time, literally!  The deadline was midnight tonight.  This is the first quilt along, of any kind I have ever been a part of and it's been so much fun!  The Quilt Along is based on an AMAZING book by Lindsay Conner  titled: "Modern Bee: 13 Quilts To Make With Friends".  Being completely new to quilting, this is the book that really inspired me to jump in and give my dream of learning to quilt a try!  Although I know it is far from perfect,  I'm very happy with my first attempt!:)

  2. I just read all your posts, I loved watching this quilt come together and how excited you are! I'm a new quilter too, and the thrill of seeing it take shape is hard to explain to anyone else who doesn't quilt. It's a clever pattern- you didn't choose an easy one for your first quilt! I hope this is the first of many!

  4. Hey, Melissa, I came back over to say thanks for commenting on my blog! Also, do you know that you are a no-reply blogger? As a relatively new blogger myself, I just went through this. If you go to this tutorial you can learn how to change it :) http://thewindyside.blogspot.com/2013/06/how-to-stop-being-no-reply-blogger.html
